Meet Our Staff


Mitzi White
is the Executive Director. She is a native Parisian and a graduate of Texas A&M University-Commerce where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration well as an Associate of Science degree from Paris Junior College. She is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Before joining the CAC, Mitzi worked for many years at local industries in the areas of human resources, total quality management (TQM), quality assurance, safety, and general management. She is using the knowledge acquired in the business world to guide this non-profit organization.

She is married to Rick Ruthart, and they have two sons.

 

Rebecca Peevy is the Program Director and Forensic Interviewer and has been with the CAC since October 2005. Before joining the CAC staff, Rebecca worked as a Child Protective Service Investigator for the State of Oklahoma for over 3 years. Rebecca has a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University with a major in criminal justice. She has over 500 training hours in the field of child abuse as well as forensic interviewing. Rebecca coordinates investigative forensic interviews with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) and facilitates monthly case staffings. Rebecca works closely with the SANE program to coordinate sexual assault exams of children and also provides court testimony as requested.

 


Rebecah Wells-Tyndell is the service coordinator and serves as a backup forensic interviewer. Rebecah oversees the Rainbow Room.

 

Angela Crawford is a forensic interviewer and past Executive Director of the CAC. Angela holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development and was hired in July of 2000 as Forensic Interviewer. During her time at the CAC, she has also served as Program Coordinator, and as Backup Forensic Interviewer/Grant Administrator. Angela has conducted more than 450 interviews and received extensive training regarding child abuse, forensic interviewing and victims services.

 

Brittany Whitlock is the Intern for Fall 2009. She is pursuing her degree at University of North Texas in Denton.

 


 

Bobbi Garrison and other compassionate volunteers have dedicated countless hours of their time to the mission of the agency. The CAC relies on help from volunteers to carry out the daily functions of protecting and promoting the healing of children who are victims of abuse.
