We're thrilled to share that the first annual Paris Classic Pickleball Tournament raised an impressive $20,000 for Children's Advocacy Center Paris. A heartfelt thank you to our presenting sponsor Thomas A. Ables & Associates, all of our sponsors, players, volunteers, and spectators that supported this event! We're already looking forward to next year! Our commitment to the Paris, Texas community inspires us to keep supporting vital initiatives like this.
All proceeds from the event will support the ongoing work of CAC Paris, whose mission since 1999 has been to promote hope, healing, and justice for child victims of crime in Lamar and Red River Counties. We provide family advocacy services, forensic interviews, and therapy for children in our community whose lives have been affected by abuse.
CAC Paris is an affiliate of the National Children’s Alliance and CAC Texas (CACTX); 98.6% of all Texans live in a county that a local center like CAC Paris officially serves. The CACs 2024 received 339 to 590 reports from the statewide child abuse hotline, and 60 328 children received critical services at a Texas CAC.
